Bryan William Robbins is a Web Content Producer, currently producing mobile games and video content for video-game developing and publishing giant Electronic Arts. experienced from pre-to-post with web adverts, national & foreign commercials, major label music videos, and primetime television (ABC).
Bryan got his start in post-production working with acclaimed Directors and DPs including Joe Pytka, Joseph Kahn, Wally Pfister, Janusz Kaminski, Guillermo Navarro, Mauro Fiore and Emmanuel Lubezki. As the film industry has transitioned towards digital and interactive media, he saw a major opportunity to explore a new side of media that has the potential to be more conceptually expansive than it’s linear counterpart.
In the summer of 2011 he was selected as 1 of 10 in the U.S. for the YouTube Creator Institute at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, receiving specialized training directly from Google and YouTube’s Strategic Initiatives management team on social media-based content creation, marketing strategies and received valuable insight from some of the biggest successes in social media and traditional media alike.
As Director/ Producer he collaborated with Director of Photography Kris Kachikis and Production Designer Shane Richardson on an experimental music video entitled ”Shadow” which was nominated for best music video at the Hollywood Film Festival 2009 and recently won best short film at LA Comedy Shorts 2012 collaborating with writer/actors Laurel Coppock and Michael Oosterom of the Groundlings Theater.
